Skeeter adopted us on November 20, 2004.  We went down to pick up this little boy from Small Dog Rescue in Atlanta, Georgia.  There have been a few downs and a lot of ups this past year.  Skeeter had major surgery at the end of 2004, and a hernia operation six weeks later.  Skeeter also visits his ophthalmologist every three months.  Between Skeeter's generalist, internist, and ophthalmologist, the general consensus was that Skeeter is 17 years old.

Skeeter is such a joy to have in our family.

Skeeter has an 8 year old sister named Abby.  Although it has been over a year since Skeeter been living with us, Abby has yet to even acknowledge Skeeter is her brother.  She is not mean to him, but she is not friendly either.

Skeeter also has a 5-1/2 year old sister named Bobunk.  Bobunk and Skeeter are nice to each other until it comes to which one of them is sitting closer to their mom.  Skeeter will snap his gums and Bobunk will growl.  Skeeter is the only one to ever act and has taken Bobunk down.

You see, Skeeter has 3 teeth and none of them match up.  Skeeter also has limited vision and quick movements frighten him.  Skeeter has two types of eye drops, mouth wash, and arthritis medicine he takes every day.

If you cannot read between the lines, we all love Skeeter very much.  This little boy is so happy and definitely spoiled.  Skeeter also has a complete wardrobe of t-shirts, pajamas, sweaters, coats, and boots.  Skeeter will dance around when he sees his clothes because he loves wearing them.
